QUOTE FOR THE WEEK
"People are all human When you think about it But when you don't They're not"
—Deborah Hendell from THE WORLD FROM MY WINDOW (written when she was 11)
Wow, how did you ever dig up that quote? Do you have that book? I was in the same class as Debbie (P.S. 192, in Manhattan) and my poem was also in that book, too...only mine appeared on the book's back cover and with no credit! I was so upset...
I wrote it down when I first read it decades ago and have carried it with me ever since. You never know the impact your art may have on others, so don't be too quick to dismiss the infitine possibilities.
