MY IRISH GRANDFATHER
Don't think I ever posted this photo before of my Irish-born grandfather who was the first policeman in South Orange NJ.
Oh man. This made me tear up. "Yours without a struggle." I will be stealing that.

For me, its not only the sentiment but its also the bicycle, the overcoat, even his posture. All simple and uncluttered and without pretense.
