Great stuff! Demonstrating how sentimentality is such a handy tool for manipulating people. And for selling stuff, too.
Meanwhile, Lols, respond to my latest post on Weill, would you? I so rarely get to discuss the definition of poetry with anybody, and I'm constantly trying to figure out what definition others are using, especially since so little of anything from past 1930, except for a Tillie Olsen here and a Berryman there, has any meaning for me. Well, I guess Dylan Thomas is post-1930 too, but you get what I mean.
