Actually the quote IS bull.
The typical inside out kind of view.
Pity me.
Although, it sounds cool.
Having said that i'm sure most publishers don't read every script sent to them.
Every author knows that. That's why the oldest advice is to make the first line count. well, i guess that was true even before the first book was ever printed, ad the first professional publisher ever appeared.
I guess i kind of agree with the last line. It sort of contradicts the first two lines.
