Good quote, Lol. Maybe that philosophy is what allowed Max to be such a dynamic player for so long. Eric Gravatt, on the other hand, who was perhaps the greatest artist on drums I ever saw, quit the business to be a jail guard in Minnesota for a few decades! Maybe he was being kind to himself, too.
