ANOTHER PERSPECTIVE

Once again Tom Tomorrow hits our heads on the nail.

I love the fact that the wacko left is obsessed with Sarah. They proclaim her stupidity and revile her unique vocabulary and syntax, but her score card in the primaries, of candidates that she has backed, did very well. I suspect she can draw more of a crowd these days than that man in the White House. It will be interesting to watch her over the next couple of years. She may or may not be nominated and win, but she will never be dull or anti American, anti US Constitution or anti free enterprize.

The fact that Sarah Palin draws a crowd and isn't "dull" means nothing. People watch "Keeping up with the Kardashians" and "Jersey SHore" too, and I'm sure that Kim K and The Situation draw a big crowd too--that doesn't mean I'm interested in their picks for who should be running our government. That anyone would pay any heed at all to Sarah Palin and her political recommendations is absolutely terrifying.

Great post Lals. Thanks for sharing it.

Jim where do you come off claiming to know or uphold what it is to be "American?" Who died and left you in charge of that department? To be American means so much more that your smug, skewed, narrow-minded, bigoted, ignorant definition. If you don't like what's going on here, leave!

Wow,
I love it. Sarah just drives liberals wacko. Imagine the future liberal reactions if she actually runs. America seems to be learning a lesson about socialist big government policies if Obama/Pelosi/Reid's poll numbers are an indication. Maybe it is only Obama's "Summer of Recovery", but we could have a Madam President Palin in two years. "Hail to the Chief".

"Sad how the Obama and Bush regimes had/have the same totalitarian/capitalist mindsets. Let's find a threat so we can clamp down AND make a fortune off it!

Fuckers."

It is amazing how much energy someone can put into wanting our country to fail. And yes, I do not live for Sarah or what she stands for no matter how she says it. Really, how much hate can one party have. I for one, only want good things for us, not just to dwell on the negative (quote after quote after quote.) Unfortunately, my twins do not want to hear about anything political and I do not blame them. Lally, thanks again for your posts.

Another comic: They strike us where we're weakest — our constitution.

This forum is what our country is about. Jim, your wife sounds lovely, and your twins sound cool. But you can't say that Michael or me or anyone else on this soil is any less "American" than you are. Including our President, a man of great intelligence and vision who is trying to correct a horrible world mess he inherited. Thanks to Michael Lally for creating this forum for dialog and exchange of ideas.

Robert,
I question Obama's prime loyalty to America. He is the first President, that I am of aware of, that is not in awe of the most successful representative Republic in history. He sang the praizes of Islam and talked less than glowingly of America. Now he has reported supposed American human rights violation to the UN rights commission. His wife was not proud of America until he was elected. Give me a break. Now, at least for one day, he came out in favor of a shariah compliant Victory Mosque at Ground Zero. I have said it before and I say it again. Obama is the first anti-American president in history.
