Wow, how did you ever dig up that quote? Do you have that book? I was in the same class as Debbie (P.S. 192, in Manhattan) and my poem was also in that book, too...only mine appeared on the book's back cover and with no credit! I was so upset...
I wrote it down when I first read it decades ago and have carried it with me ever since. You never know the impact your art may have on others, so don't be too quick to dismiss the infitine possibilities.
