A QUOTE THAT EPITOMIZES THE DIFFERENCES IN THE DEBT/DEFICIT FIGHT

"Republican proposals have singled out some 43 education programs for elimination, but it's not seen as equally essential to end tax loopholes on hedge fund managers."  —Nicholas D. Kristof (in today's NY Times)

so the question is, what's going to happen to all the students, teachers and administrators affected by the cutbacks in education? The lost jobs, the people who become homeless, who can't eat, can't pay their utility bills, kids who cant go to school, be in class, what are they going to do? Jim, got an answer for this? For the vets who cant get medical care, or the seniors?

Please answer.

Local communities and states will decide what they can afford. Many will follow the WI, NJ and Ohio in having public employees pay for some of their benefits thus allowing states and towns from going bankrupt.

Robert, Obama's reality is looking grimmer for him.

Even worse numbers arrived for the administration Tuesday, courtesy of a new ABC News/Washington Post poll that suggests even the president’s base is jumping ship. The percentage of Americans angry about the economy has jumped from 44 percent to 60 percent.

Among liberal Democrats, support for Obama’s job-creation efforts has crashed from 53 percent to 31 percent. Almost 60 percent of voters now disapprove of Obama’s overall management of the economy, according to that poll.

Still no answer to the specific question posed. Why are tax loopholes for hedgefund managers not closed, when education is being slashed and jobs cut by the likes of NJ Gov with no accomodations for the consequences of real human beings becoming jobless, homeless, unable to pay bills? Stop regurgitating poll numbers and come up with a solution better than working class survival mode people paying for things they cannot afford that would not affect the security of the wealthly one bit to pay. Come up with meaningful solution Jim, not the crap you spew.

Robert, sorry man but I can't put up with the rightwinger's lies and though I'd like to have your comments answered etc. we all know what the answers will be. There is no discussing anything with the right at this point. As many have been saying in articles and on blogs the right has become a cult for which the truth has no relevance, only the beliefs of the cult, and no argument, no evidence, no facts, no reality will persuade them to abandon those beliefs.

Thanks Michael, I was hoping for a surprise, but sadly, Jim can't answer the question posed, which proves the point of agenda over reality, prejudice and bigotry.
