ANOTHER FAVORITE QUOTE

"death isn't hard to get used to, it's the getting used to death that's hard to get used to."  —Michael Lally (1965 journal entry, later turned into a poem)

What you give is what really counts. Michael Lally gives inspiration , encouragement of free thinking, kindness, compassion and positive change through his art and how his lives his life. Love flows to future generations and is never forgotten. The negative stuff is always replaced by the good... though sometimes it takes a long time- maybe more than 50 years. I agree with your quote M and missing the person in person is especially difficult.

Hopefully in 50 years someone who uses their gift of life to add meaning to the lives of others, like my dad often does, will come up with a cure for whatever it is that prevents Jlm from living a meaningful life.

Now I'm going back to composing a letter to a dying family member. A truly kind man who many will never forget.
