My friend the writer/musician and Huffington Post blogger R. J. Eskow does what I haven't the energy to lately, nails the last Republican debate candidates to their own petards (whatever that means, I never knew, but I knew what it was meant to mean and so do you, I would guess). And does it with humor, clarity, reason, logic and actual facts (and links to sources). Totally worth reading and using in your arguments with any Republicans you still argue with.

During President Obama's second term, health care will be a right, not a privilege. The well being of both present and future generations will be considered in decisions affecting the environment as well as gun proliferation and media depiction. Education will become a priority over violence and arms in fostering and strengthening worldwide security and harmony among our global community.
Sounds good Robert, but he'd have to have a Democratically controlled Congress to do it and the support of a lot of voters, and get rid of some of his cabinet and advisors. Let's hope. In the meantime, any progress on any front is better than the opposite which dominated reality under the last administration.
Michael, we will likely have a Democratically controlled Congress that more truly and fully represents the best interests of the majority of people.
