This is just one story about instances of Chinese repression. There are hundreds, thousands—probably hundreds of thousands—more.

Governments establish and attempt to maintain order. Any disruption of that order is either exterminated or repressed.

While the UN Charter on Human Rights may speak of some 'God Given Rights', God does not seem to want to enforce those rights and freedoms.

Any and all rights are granted and protected by the government. Some governments grant more rights than others.

We should stop insisting that the world conform to some utopian ideal or way of life in some other society.; August 18, 2008 at 3:29:00 PM EDT
