Thanks for this link, Michael. I too from over here in Australia have felt a sense of deep embarrassment for all those who might go along with this. Baratun's speech is powerful honest and evocative. I'm so glad I heard it. I now feel I understand far more than I would have had I simply followed the media, though most that I've read here is NOT supportive of Trump. most people I know see through his racism.
"Heartbreak" indeed. He wasn't the only one. I was listening to the Stephanie Miller show in the aftermath of this tawdry circus and the African Americans calling in were outraged and hurt. One guy completely broke down on the air, which was very sobering. As bad as the birth certificate fiasco was, I was even more disturbed by the follow up where they are questioning how he was admitted to Columbia and then Harvard Law. One thing for sure: they have no bounds, respect, or decency.

Donald Trump has only one thing, money. He has zero anything else. He has less than zero integrity. Like Jim, he is an ignorer of truth and of facts. Like Jim he is a bigot. Trump will give the mediots something to talk about for a bit, but will burn out when the small minority that buy into his act realize what an insubstantial, uncaring, irresponsible putz he is.
Robert,
There you go with the name calling. If you are going to call me a bigot, at least give an example. As for Trump, I hope he goes away soon, also.
Goldie Taylor on Maddow nails it too:
Here
Miles,
Thanks for that. She nails it as well.
At least Obama can have a sense of humor about it:
