BLASTS FROM THE PAST

Here are two of my favorite snapshots from my Hollywood years, as I like to call the almost two decades I lived in Santa Monica and worked in movies and on TV. In the first (taken in 1983) my hair looks kind of goofy and in the second (I'd guess taken around 1993) my expression does, but both of these women look as beautiful as I found them to be in person. I felt lucky to know them.

Nice:))

It is amazing to me you lived in Santa Monica for 20 years and all we ever did was talk on the phone! But if I think about it, I had 4 children under 8 yrs old including 2 babies...that explains it.

Well, fortunately we did see each other several times. I have a nice shot of your dining room (or one of them) with my daughter Caitlin in it and Tony, and I remember the time I came by for dinner with your friend T.C. etc. But I wish we'd made more time to hang out. Maybe you'l;l make it back East sometime.

Yes, I am remembering a barbeque with some people from Iowa City once, and a birthday party for Athena that Viola Spolin attended...I think you were there.
Well, I certainly have time to travel now. We could see each other this year.

I remember that shirt well in photo one. I was dressing you in those days. That shirt, and a greenish gabardine jacket I sent at the same time, were two of my all favorite vintage finds. It still looks great. I wish I could be in NYC for Anselm's memorial. I would love to see Josephine...

wish you could be there too brother, though may not be able to make it myself. I still have that shirt. Once in Hollywood a woman producer from Tv offered me an exorbitant amount for it but I turned her down. For decades it was my shirt for when I gave readings.
