Shem The Penman said...: "Seem an intellectual"? He really means you ain't, if you examine the logic of Jim's comment. I wonder if he's aware of this implication. If he is, and he meant it, then it's an insult to you. If he isn't, then it's just one more example of the careless manner in which his arguments are constructed, one more reason not to take him seriously.
Pretty soon, the times will overtake him, as they did his ideological forbear, Father Coughlin, and Jim too will simply disappear. It can't happen soon enough.
